Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Montessori Supervisor to join our team at Good School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality Montessori program that meets the needs of our students and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive Montessori program that aligns with our school's mission and values.
    • Ensure that the program meets the standards and regulations set by the Ministry of Education and other relevant authorities.
  • Staff Supervision and Support
    • Supervise and support a team of Montessori teachers and staff to ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality instruction.
    • Provide coaching and professional development opportunities to help staff improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Community Engagement and Partnerships
    • Build and maintain relationships with local community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote our school and its programs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to engage with the local community and promote our school's mission and values.
  • Administrative and Operational Responsibilities
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Montessori program, including budgeting, scheduling, and personnel management.
    • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification
    • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
    • AMI or MACTE Certified Montessori Teacher.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of Montessori experience and childcare management.
    • Strong knowledge of Ontario's childcare regulations and licensing requirements.
    • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
