About This Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join McKesson's Corporate team as a Scrum Master and Project Coordinator. As a key member of our Agile team, you will be responsible for leading and coaching the team in Agile best practices, implementing actions to improve productivity and quality of deliverables, driving adoption of Scrum practices throughout the organization, and identifying, managing, and mitigating project issues and risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Conduct team meetings, influence, and coach the team on Agile mindset.
  • SAFe Agile Process: Serve as guardian of the SAFe Agile process.
  • Relentless Improvement: Drive relentless improvement efforts and minimize outside disruptions.
  • Program Increment Planning: Coordinate and facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning and document committed objectives, team board, and milestones.
  • Daily Stand-ups and Retrospectives: Conduct daily stand-ups and team retrospectives.
  • Backlog Management: Work with Product Owner to manage the backlog.
  • Impediment Management: Address impediments and resolve or escalate as needed.
  • Team Velocity and Progress: Monitor team velocity and track daily progress against chosen Agile tool.
  • Scrum of Scrum Meetings: Attend Scrum of Scrum meetings to escalate issues that can't be handled within the team.
  • Team Enablement: Enable an effective team on the train.
  • Backlog Refinement and Iteration Planning: Conduct backlog refinement and iteration planning.
  • Customer and User Interaction: Interact with customers, users, and third parties as appropriate; propose creative solutions to user problems identified through enhancements, projects, or tickets.
  • Solution Evaluation: Evaluate entire scope (budget, time, effort), and the system impacts of the solutions proposed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in Information technology.
  • Technical Skills: Experience managing teams building data pipelines, and demonstrates an understanding of Data Engineering principles, Data Warehousing concepts.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English.
  • Soft Skills: Supporting team members in decision identification, facilitating without diminishing team commitment to deliver results, relationship building and supporting individual development, forecasting and identifying challenges ahead, encouraging open communication among team members, facilitating healthy conflict during team meetings, persuasive leadership and coaching, budgeting in an Agile environment, thorough understanding of IT and software concepts, software design development, and modeling.
  • Additional Requirements: Ability to work efficiently under pressure, ability to work in crisis situations, and in multi-tasking mode.
