ABOUT OUR STORE:
At PetSmart, we pride ourselves on being a unique retailer; we don't merely offer products, we deliver solutions that contribute to the happiness and health of pets and their owners. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will guide the operations through this perspective and manage all facets of our retail establishment—from the front of the store to the back.
ABOUT OUR TEAMS:In a store as expansive as ours, we require every member (including those with paws, wings, and fins) to ensure efficient operations. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist in leading the team in the following areas:
- Team Leadership: As a key leader in the store, you will play a vital role in recruiting and training new team members on all aspects of PetSmart. You will engage with and inspire them to enhance their skills and knowledge throughout their careers.
- Customer Engagement: You will collaborate with your teams to cultivate strong relationships with our customers and their pets, ensuring their safety and well-being within the store. This also involves caring for our live animals and maintaining a well-stocked merchandise display.
- Retail Strategy Implementation: Working alongside your Store Manager, you will execute all strategic merchandising plans, drive sales performance, and establish standards of excellence within our retail environment.
