About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our team at Carrier Enterprise Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our customer base in the commercial HVAC/R market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets for our Aftermarket Parts product lines and Carrier, Bryant, and Payne Residential and Commercial Equipment.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including seeking out new customers and dealers to complement and grow territory coverage.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing dedicated customer service and support.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide market feedback and insights to the organization, informing business decisions and driving growth.
  • Order Management: Ensure customers are aware of product availability and the status of their orders.
  • Product Information: Provide customers with product information and support.
  • Credit and Collections: Assist the credit department in the collection of outstanding debts and the resolution of disputes with customers.
  • Support Functions: Provide backup support to the Counter team as required and participate in after-hours call-out services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide weekly sales reports and analyze sales data to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum three to five years of HVAC/R sales experience.
  • Education: Post-secondary education in HVAC or a related field.
  • Skills: Organized, independent, and persistent individual with strong sales and negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and customer service orientation.
  • Refrigeration Knowledge: Proven knowledge of refrigeration systems and principles.
