Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and qualify new business leads to develop sales opportunities
  • Sell insurance products to existing and new clients, responding to inquiries and resolving member issues
  • Identify member needs to expand sales within existing accounts, developing contact plans and introducing new products and services
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with members and existing accounts, providing support, information, and guidance
  • Monitor member and potential member reactions to competitive products and report findings to management
  • Evaluate current products and recommend product enhancements
  • Process changes on client files as requested and document files for follow-up
  • Draft and prepare correspondence and documentation as required
  • Maintain accurate logs of quotes completed, sales completed, and other measurements pertaining to monthly reporting requirements
  • Stay up-to-date on company underwriting guidelines and changing markets

Requirements

  • A. licence
  • A minimum of three years' experience in commercial lines
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Superior time management, project management, and organizational skills to manage competing priorities
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset
