About the Role

Zurich Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Learning and Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Claims department, you will be responsible for developing and delivering technical and other training content to members of the Claims team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop training programs to meet the needs of the Claims team
  • Design and deliver training content to enhance the skills and knowledge of Claims team members
  • Conduct classroom and virtual training sessions to ensure effective learning and development
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and training specialists to develop and deliver training programs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to Claims team members to support their professional development
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8 or more years of experience in learning and development, specifically in the insurance industry
  • Or, High School Diploma or Equivalent and 10 or more years of experience in learning and development, specifically in the insurance industry
  • Or, Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 8 or more years of experience in learning and development, specifically in the insurance industry
  • 6 or more years of people management experience
  • Experience consulting with business partners or clients
  • Experience in performance consulting or human performance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and influence skills
  • Strong technical writing and editing skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office Word and Excel skills
  • Previous Claims experience required
  • Experience in vendor management recommended
  • Knowledge of learning management systems
