We are seeking a highly skilled User Support Technician to join our team at Equip Exports Canada Inc.
Job SummaryThe User Support Technician will provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and other technology-related issues. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person
- Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
- Provide training and guidance to users on software and hardware usage
- Collect and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts
- Participate in the redesign of applications and other software
- Supervise other technical support workers in this group
- Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
The User Support Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of technical support analysts. The successful candidate will be required to work in a office setting with occasional travel to other locations.
LanguageThe primary language of work is English.
Hours of WorkThe User Support Technician will work 35 hours per week.
