Business Administrator Role

The Business Administrator provides exceptional member experience by delivering personalized service, promoting credit union products and services, and supporting the Business Lending team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding member service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Business Lending team to provide administrative support and ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with members, identifying opportunities to promote credit union products and services.
  • Process and maintain business memberships and accounts, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Administer specialized accounts, such as estates and property management companies, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Act as the member point of contact for CAFT, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Prepare bank confirmations and assist with credit card applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Solicit new members and foster business development through exceptional service, product knowledge, and teamwork.
  • Provide administrative support and assistance to the Business Loan department, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of reports and documentation.
  • Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Business Administration or other post-secondary education considered an asset.
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to identify and act upon sales and service opportunities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Knowledge of Access Credit Union's products and services.
  • Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of risk management within the financial industry.
  • Proficient computer skills.
