About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, and prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, and clean kitchen and work areas.
  • Team Collaboration: Order supplies and equipment, and work with the team to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
