About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at Social YVR. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and supplies to support menu planning.
  • Culinary Operations
    • Oversee the preparation and cooking of meals and individual dishes.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are equipped to meet the demands of our kitchen operations.
    • Manage inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Conduct regular inspections of the kitchen and food service areas to ensure that they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
    • Implement and maintain systems for monitoring and controlling food safety and quality.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their dietary needs and preferences are met.
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English.
