Join our dedicated team at Augustine Villas Retirement Home and Assisted Living as a Nurse Aide. This permanent position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide essential support to our residents in a nurturing environment.
Employment Details- Job Type: Permanent
- Language of Work: English
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week
We require candidates to have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience is not mandatory as we provide comprehensive training.
Work Environment- Relocation costs covered by the employer
- Willingness to relocate is preferred
- Work setting includes nursing homes and facilities for the elderly
- Assist residents with outdoor recreational activities
- Support patient care and comfort through various tasks
- Manage personal care duties
- Handle bed pans and maintain hygiene
- Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Serve meals and assist residents with feeding
- Provide physical support by lifting, turning, and positioning residents
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Transport residents using wheelchairs or stretchers
- Respond to call signals to address residents' needs
- Administer first aid in emergencies
A criminal record check is required for this position.
TransportationA vehicle will be provided by the employer for work-related travel.
