We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to join our team at AgeCare. As a Personal Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Support residents with mobility issues, including walking, standing, and transferring
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Document resident care and progress
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a long-term care facility
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Immunization records and tuberculosis test
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
