About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at AgeCare. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as provide assistance with toileting and incontinence care.
  • Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, and monitor residents for any adverse reactions.
  • Meal Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve meals to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Housekeeping and Laundry: Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including laundry and housekeeping duties.
  • Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage residents in activities and provide companionship, helping to prevent loneliness and isolation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies, such as fires or medical emergencies, and provide first aid as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College diploma or equivalent in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare or social services setting, preferably in a caregiving role.
  • Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.
