We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Aide to join our team at Augustine Villas Retirement Home and Assisted Living. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort.
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
- Participate in recreational activities with patients, promoting socialization and engagement.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods to perform physical tasks.
