Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Labour Relations and Compliance to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our labour relations and compliance efforts, ensuring that our hospital remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the organization's policies, procedures, and data governance to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes and trends to ensure the hospital remains up-to-date and compliant.
- Develop and implement human resources strategies and programs to promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the labour relations and compliance team.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement organizational strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Legal Studies, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of labour relations experience, ideally with multiple unions and collective agreements.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the application of practices and laws governing human resources.
- Knowledge of risk management and controls or willingness to take additional training and certifications.
