The Aerospace Research Centre at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) is seeking talented individuals to join our team as Instrumentation Technologists. Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support for the installation, maintenance, and operation of analytical instrumentation and equipment within our Combustion Research Facility.
  • Execute precise instrument calibration procedures according to established protocols.
  • Contribute to the design and development of electronic hardware and software solutions tailored to research needs.
  • Leverage your technical expertise to guide the selection of appropriate scientific instrumentation for various research projects.

Requirements:

  • A 3-year College Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Process Control Engineering Technology is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in experimental measurement techniques and instrumentation design is required.
  • Proficiency in software such as LabVIEW and the ability to troubleshoot electronic systems are key qualifications.

Benefits:

The NRC offers a competitive salary range from $58,445 to $80,040 per year. Comprehensive health and dental plans, vacation time, sick leave, and pension plans are also provided.
