Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in on-site tasks such as preventive maintenance, pre-operational assessments, troubleshooting, and modifications of high-power electrical distribution systems.
  • Assisting in the development of technical solutions tailored to client requirements and evaluating project work.
  • Overseeing project management: procurement of materials, planning of work, implementation of safety protocols, execution of tasks, and preparation of reports.

Desired profile:

  • Possess a DEC or a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing medium-voltage electrical systems.
  • Complete training in construction site health and safety.
  • Membership in the Order of Engineers in Quebec is a plus.
  • Possess a non-construction electrician card, which is advantageous.
  • Hold a Class 5 driver's license.
  • Experience in testing electrical equipment is essential.
  • Strong understanding of low and medium-voltage electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with control and protection systems.
  • Knowledge of oil transformers and/or high-voltage electrical systems is an asset.
  • Awareness of safety regulations in industrial settings.
  • Proficient in manual and mechanical tasks.
  • Computer proficiency: Word, Excel, 2D drawing with AutoCAD, protection relay programming software, and testing device software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and maintain client relationships.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
