Electrical Engineering Manager - Renewable Energy

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our Renewable Energy team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering projects and teams across Canada, focusing on renewable energy solutions such as solar, wind, and battery energy storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical engineering projects and teams, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Develop and implement electrical engineering strategies and initiatives to strengthen operational and technical project delivery
  • Supervise a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure quality control of electrical engineering deliverables, adhering to industry standards and best practices
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Quebec or another province in Canada
  • At least 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering and engineering management, with a focus on renewable energy projects
  • Experience managing/leading teams of engineers and technicians, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
