**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Canada Infra. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for participating in fieldwork, including preventive maintenance, pre-operational checks, troubleshooting, and modifying electrical distribution equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Participate in fieldwork, including preventive maintenance, pre-operational checks, troubleshooting, and modifying electrical distribution equipment.
  • Support and participate in the development of technical solutions that meet client needs and evaluate work.
  • Manage projects, including purchasing materials, planning work, implementing safety measures, executing work, and preparing reports.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a DEC or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in electrical service on medium-voltage equipment.
  • Hold a health and safety training certificate for construction sites.
  • Be a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (a plus).
  • Hold a Class 5 driver's license.
  • Have experience with electrical equipment testing.
  • Have strong knowledge of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment.
  • Have knowledge of control and protection systems.
  • Have knowledge of oil-filled transformers and/or high-voltage electrical equipment (a plus).
  • Have knowledge of industrial safety rules.
  • Have manual and mechanical skills.
  • Have computer skills, including Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and programming software for relays and protection equipment.
  • Be able to communicate and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Be an excellent team player.
