The Sales Leader, Channel Development, is responsible for driving sales growth and initiatives within their territory for both Large and Small Format customers. This role will oversee the execution of sales priorities and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and revenue within assigned territory
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales initiatives
- Manage and develop a team of Sales Development Managers, Sales Execution Associates, and Merchandisers to achieve sales goals
- Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies, and regulatory requirements
- Coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts and Sales area leadership in operations
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce health and safety policies and regulations
- Regularly interact with store level and local chain leaders to drive sales growth and adherence to marketing agreements
- Post-Secondary education, preferably in business or a related field
- Minimum 2-5 years of progressive sales experience, with operations experience preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proven collaboration and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Demonstrated ability to promote an inclusive work environment and support workforce diversity
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support Market Units
