Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Server to join our team at Hotel Arts. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Work collaboratively with the banquet team to ensure efficient service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, with knowledge of banquet service techniques an asset.
  • Valid Alberta ProServe Certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, mornings, and closing shifts as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
