Job Summary

The Bartender is a key member of the Flames Grill team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest quality of service. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and take food orders, providing information about products and opportunities to upsell.
  • Follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Collect payments and operate cash registers, adhering to company cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests.
  • Ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar, adhering to company safety and sanitation policies.
  • Adhere to all company customer service, adult beverage, and cash handling policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Requires at least 1 year of closely related bartending experience, with a preference for high-volume or fast-casual dining restaurant environments.
  • Requires knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, as well as their preparation and presentation, with a commitment to staying up-to-date on new and revised beverage recipes.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
  • Requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and perform normal job functions, including walking, bending, twisting, and standing.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience is preferred.
  • Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.
