Event Service Professional

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at O&B Blue Mountain. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every event is a success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, setup, and maintenance of event spaces
- Possess a strong knowledge of event menu items and be able to answer questions from guests
- Respond promptly to guest requests in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
- Deliver food and beverages to the appropriate tables as directed by the management team
- Clear plates, cutlery, and glasses from the tables and return them to the dish area
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards to ensure that every dish meets our high standards
- Adhere to all O&B health and safety standards and follow all food safety protocols
- Additional duties as assigned or required
- Create a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in event management, hospitality, or a related field, and/or experience serving in a similar environment
- Smart Serve Certification is a requirement
- High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum
- Available to work evenings, nights, and weekends
