About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Ashoka Indian Cuisine. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
  • Supply Chain Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other essential supplies, ensuring the best possible quality and value.
  • Customer Relations: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.
  • Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Youth and Mature Worker Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and mature workers, ensuring that everyone feels valued and supported.
  • Work Environment: Ensure that our restaurant is a positive and productive work environment, where everyone feels comfortable and motivated.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent work term
  • Work language: English
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
