Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada CAMP Systems International Full time

Position Overview

CAMP Systems International stands as the foremost provider of aircraft compliance and health management solutions within the global business aviation sector. Renowned for its excellence, CAMP is the exclusive recommended service provider for a majority of business aircraft manufacturers worldwide. Our offerings are delivered through a "SaaS plus" model, supporting over 20,000 aircraft on our maintenance tracking platform and more than 31,000 engines on our engine health monitoring platform. Furthermore, CAMP supplies shop floor management ERP systems to over 1,300 aircraft maintenance facilities and parts suppliers globally. Since its inception in 2001, CAMP has expanded from a single location to a workforce of over 1,300 employees across 13 locations worldwide.

With strong ties to business aircraft manufacturers, maintenance facilities, and parts suppliers, CAMP is uniquely positioned to comprehend the current offline information flows in the business aviation industry, which often introduce friction into the global market for aviation parts and services. CAMP is actively developing a digital enterprise aimed at streamlining the exchange of parts and services, thereby creating significant value for both the company and the broader aviation industry.

Working at CAMP is an exciting opportunity, not only due to its promising growth trajectory but also because of its vibrant culture. Talented and driven individuals who take initiative are empowered to make impactful contributions. CAMP is part of the Hearst Business Media portfolio.

Job Responsibilities

The Aviation Compliance Analyst is tasked with overseeing the management of Airframe, Engine, APU, and Propeller templates. This role is crucial in ensuring that the template data aligns with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The Analyst will develop, maintain, and manage the revision process to uphold the integrity of the templates and customer programs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Director of Technical Services and the Technical Service Project Manager to devise quality initiatives aimed at auditing and refining templates to ensure data accuracy.
  • Leading key initiatives to align with the business unit's vision and foster cohesion.
  • Regularly assessing the efficiency of business processes against objectives and formulating reliable solutions to meet complex customer and business needs.
  • Conducting data analysis and participating in the development of business systems and processes that support core functions.
  • Taking ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful delivery within the designated area of responsibility.
  • Creating new CAMP templates, compiling all relevant aircraft documents and publications, and associating them with OEM maintenance tasks.
  • Auditing Technical Publications outputs and identifying quality discrepancies.
  • Reviewing and auditing the work performed by CAMP Data Support Services in support of the Technical Publications Group.
  • Recommending modifications to CAMP policies and standards based on insights into OEM practices and other relevant factors.
  • Overseeing clerical tasks conducted by CAMP Data Support Services to ensure precision and quality.
  • Ensuring that all assigned aircraft, engine, and appliance manufacturer publication revisions are accurately and completely integrated into CAMP maintenance programs according to model revision standards.
  • Researching, reviewing, and incorporating Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins into CAMP templates and aircraft.
  • Performing quality reviews of previously implemented revisions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Implementing global updates and template changes based on manufacturer publication revisions as necessary.
  • Assisting in the training of Technical Service Analysts and support personnel as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 5 years of analytical experience, with a background in the aviation industry being essential.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in extracting and analyzing database information; SQL skills for handling large data volumes are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a global team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, and initiative are imperative.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Access.
  • Airframe and Powerplant license is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily office-based, characterized by a moderate noise level. The physical demands of this role include continuous sitting, frequent communication, and occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
