Senior Manager, Corporate Insolvency Expert

As a Senior Manager, Corporate Insolvency, you will be part of our Recovery & Restructuring team, assisting lenders and debtors with managing challenging financial situations. Your expertise will help clients navigate through times of financial distress. Your responsibilities will include managing engagements related to restructuring and insolvency appointments, communicating with stakeholders, managing the team, and developing resolutions. You will also assist with the proposal, planning, and delivery of corporate insolvency services, preparing court reports and correspondence, and developing relationships with special loan financiers, insolvency lawyers, and business executives. You will be responsible for data analysis, review of accounting records, and the development of financial models. You will also manage engagement planning and scheduling, as well as engagement financials. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 4+ years of corporate insolvency experience, and completion of or pursuing a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) certification and working to become a Licensed Insolvency Trustee (LIT). A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is considered an asset. You will need strong business acumen, practice development skills, commitment to excellence, and attention to detail. You will also need proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with and develop financial models. Proven people management, relationship building, and leadership skills are essential. Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills are also required.
