Youth Substance Use Outreach Clinician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth Substance Use Outreach Clinician to join our Specialized Services/Interprofessional Teams department. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, early interventions, and referrals to youth at risk of substance use and mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide community engagement and outreach services to at-risk youth in various settings, including street-based, school, and community settings.
- Assess and develop treatment plans for youth experiencing substance use and mental health issues.
- Collaborate with collateral service providers to promote harm reduction and support youth in maintaining their treatment plans.
- Provide education, support, and guidance to youth and their families on substance use and mental health.
- Bachelor's degree in an Allied Health, Behavioural, or Social Science field.
- Two years of recent experience in a health setting working with complex youth clients with concurrent disorders.
- Excellent assessment, treatment, and teaching skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
