The Residential HVAC Solutions Consultant will collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager to enhance our market presence in residential heating and cooling technologies. This role involves selling HVAC products such as heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioning units, and water heaters directly to homeowners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, sizing, pricing, and presenting HVAC solutions tailored to the residential market, while also generating new business through both incoming inquiries and self-initiated leads. A strong background in B2C technical sales, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems, is essential for effectively communicating complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and nurture long-lasting relationships with customers. Ensure efficient delivery of customer-focused services, including equipment selection, sizing, quoting, and selling, while maintaining professionalism and exceptional customer service during installation. Manage incoming leads to accurately assess technical and physical requirements for replacements. Prepare pricing estimates, proposals, and contracts, while assisting with project coordination and customer communication as needed. Maintain a comprehensive CRM database for accounts and opportunities, including the collection of customer insights and market intelligence. Engage in canvassing and sales efforts to attract new and existing customers. Deliver outstanding customer service grounded in a thorough understanding of our operational model. Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns effectively. Provide financial key performance indicators related to pricing and profit margins.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience. 1-5 years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role. Proficiency in computer skills is advantageous. Familiarity with the industry in a sales context is beneficial. HRAI Certification for HVAC programs and designs is a plus. Demonstrated success in achieving performance objectives and sales targets. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience in in-home sales is an asset. Proven track record of meeting performance and quality targets. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
