We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Management Consultant to join our team at Enercare. As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will be responsible for assessing, sizing, pricing, and presenting commercial HVAC solutions to clients in the commercial and property management industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a new business prospecting strategy to identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the commercial and property management sectors.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate the current HVAC and water heating equipment and provide recommendations for replacement or maintenance to clients.
- Prepare and present pricing, proposals, contracts, and assist with project coordination and customer communication as required.
- Upsell Enercare products and solutions to clients where applicable.
- Maintain a CRM database for accounts and opportunities, as well as collect customer information and general market intelligence.
- Assist management in identifying new market segments, prospects, lead sources, and referral opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key players in the commercial and property management new construction, retrofit HVAC market.
- Deliver presentations, project estimation quotes, draft proposals, and RFP responses.
- Negotiate and close sales, clearly articulate solution needs and benefits, and prepare contracts.
- B2B technical sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Candidate must be entrepreneurial and a strategic thinker.
- Must be able to articulate strategies and results in developing new business.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed performance objectives.
- Exceptional communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
- Previous HVAC sales experience would be considered an asset.
- Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma would be considered an asset.
