About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at Andrew Schwartz. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to children and families in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Engage children in activities such as games, outings, and educational programs, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, performing light housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Transport children to and from school, appointments, and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to understand individual needs and preferences, providing personalized support and care.
Requirements
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varied shifts and schedules.
