Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: This role will involve working in the employer's/client's home, providing care and education to children in a safe and healthy environment.
  • Tasks: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
    • Changing diapers and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
    • Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas for infants.
    • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
    • Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
    • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
    • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
    • Organizing activities such as games and outings for children.
    • Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
    • Preparing infants and children for rest periods.
    • Supervising and caring for children.
    • Tending to the emotional well-being of children.
  • Target Audience: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for a multi-aged group of children.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role will involve repetitive tasks and requires attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: The successful candidate will possess excellent written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
