About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team at Mr. Wechsler. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and education to infants and children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Develop and implement engaging activities and games to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
    • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
    • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
    • Assist with toilet training and potty breaks, promoting good hygiene habits
  • Household Management
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a tidy and organized living space
    • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, ensuring a clean and comfortable environment
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on the child's daily activities and progress
    • Collaborate with other childcare professionals to ensure a seamless and high-quality care experience
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Skills and Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
    • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
