Child Care Specialist

Celia Bryson is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child Care Specialist to join our team. As a Child Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and education to infants and children in a home-based setting.
Key Responsibilities- Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: This role will involve working in the employer's/client's home, providing care and education to children in a safe and healthy environment.
- Tasks: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Changing diapers and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas for infants.
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens.
- Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Organizing activities such as games and outings for children.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals.
- Preparing infants and children for rest periods.
- Supervising and caring for children.
- Tending to the emotional well-being of children.
- Target Audience: The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for a multi-aged group of children.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role will involve repetitive tasks and requires attention to detail.
- Personal Suitability: The successful candidate will possess excellent written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
