Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialist

Susan Smith is seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric services to children and adolescents in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Community Mental Health Practice: Establish and maintain a full-time community mental health practice in Fort McMurray, providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents.
- Hospital On-Call Support: Provide on-call support assistance as per call schedules, working collaboratively with our hospital team to ensure seamless care.
- Tele-Medicine Services: Utilize tele-medicine or other forms of telecommunication to provide psychiatric services to communities experiencing high need for mental health services.
- Teaching and Leadership: Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities, as well as demonstrate interest in leadership roles within our organization.
- Administrative Duties: Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned, supporting the growth and development of our team.
- Specialized Experience: Must be specialized or experienced in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Qualifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or eligibility).
- Preference: Preference will be given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment.
