About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Fort McMurray. As a key member of our mental health team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric services to children and adolescents in our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain a full-time community mental health practice in Fort McMurray.
- Provide hospital on-call support assistance as per call schedules.
- Provide psychiatric services to communities experiencing a high need for mental health services, utilizing Tele-Medicine or another form of telecommunication.
- Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities.
- Interest in Leadership and contributing to administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be specialized or experienced in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or eligibility).
- Preference will be given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment.
