About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and adolescents in our community. As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services, including hospital on-call support and community-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain a full-time community mental health practice in Fort McMurray
- Provide hospital on-call support assistance as per call schedules
- Offer psychiatric services to communities in need, utilizing Tele-Medicine or other forms of telecommunication
- Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities
- Participate in leadership and administrative duties as assigned
- Specialized or experienced in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification
- Preference given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment
