Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist - Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team in Fort McMurray, Alberta. As a key member of our mental health team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric services to children and adolescents in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Community Mental Health Practice: Establish and maintain a full-time community mental health practice in Fort McMurray, providing psychiatric services to children and adolescents.
- Hospital On-Call Support: Provide on-call support assistance as per call schedules, ensuring timely and effective support to our hospital team.
- Tele-Medicine Services: Utilize Tele-Medicine or other forms of telecommunication to provide psychiatric services to communities experiencing a high need for mental health services.
- Teaching and Leadership: Contribute to and participate in teaching programs and activities, as well as demonstrate interest in leadership roles within our organization.
- Administrative Duties: Contribute to and participate in other administrative duties as assigned, supporting the smooth operation of our mental health team.
- Specialized Experience: Must be specialized or experienced in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Professional Qualifications: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or eligibility).
- Preference: Preference will be given to applicants who do not require or have completed the CPSA Preliminary Clinical Assessment.
