Senior Consultant, Consulting Services

At Sun Life Financial, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Consulting Services team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of executive compensation programs that drive business results and align with our company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement executive compensation programs that are competitive, equitable, and pay-for-performance oriented.
  • Provide analytical support for executive compensation programs, including incentive design, administration, and communication.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of internal and external compensation design, practices, policies, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with senior management and business partners to provide professional analytical support for executive compensation programs.
  • Participate in senior management/business partner discussions regarding initiatives/changes in organization structures and compensation programs.
Requirements:
  • University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 7+ years of Human Resources experience; preferably in executive compensation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, i.e., Access experience is an asset.
  • Experience in leveraging HR Information Systems to administer compensation programs and extract data for analysis; Workday experience is an asset.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy (experience with statistics and data visualization technologies such as Tableau is an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consulting skills, incorporating different perspectives, backgrounds, and styles.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of HR programs and connections.
  • Strong project management and planning skills.
  • Experience in Agile project management considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the financial services sector considered an asset.
