Culinary Expertise

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen Grill & Chill. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and ensure seamless execution
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs to maintain profitability
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet customer demand
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet quality standards
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain kitchen operations
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient service
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
