Job Title: User Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced User Support Technician to join our team at PT PROTECH TELECOM LTD.

Job Summary:

The User Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, software, and network issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of computer systems and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and other software.
  • Supervise other technical support workers in this group.
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 40 hours per week.
