DATA GOVERNANCE PROGRAM MANAGER
Alquemy Search & Consulting is seeking a skilled Data Governance Program Manager to spearhead the establishment of a comprehensive Data Governance strategy. This role is pivotal in deploying a robust framework throughout the organization, fostering business advancement while ensuring adherence to risk management and regulatory standards. The Data Governance Program Manager will be instrumental in instituting data management practices that guarantee data integrity, compliance, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement data governance frameworks customized to the organization's requirements, focusing on aspects such as data classification, privacy regulations, data quality assurance, metadata management, and the development of data policies, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee the rollout of a data stewardship initiative, identifying data stewards across various departments and creating training programs to educate them on their roles and responsibilities.
- Engage with internal teams to formulate data lifecycle management policies and procedures, which encompass data retention, archival, and disposal practices, aimed at optimizing data usage while mitigating risks.
- Document data governance workflows, policies, and procedures, providing regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with business units to identify data requirements and challenges, ensuring that data governance efforts are aligned with both current and future business goals.
Contract Duration: 6 months
Work Arrangement: Hybrid model with 2 days per week in the office
Compensation: Hourly rate of $70 - $75 for an Incorporated Consultant (based on a 37.5-hour work week)
