Job Title: Building Services Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Building Services Worker to join our team at Delco Building Maintenance (2007) Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and maintenance of our apartment/condominium complex and janitorial service company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Certifications: Building service worker course and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Working Conditions:
