Civil Engineering Applications Engineer

At Jump, we are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to clients, working closely with our sales teams and marketing to translate the value of technical solutions.

You will play a crucial role in delivering integrated consultative sales experiences to our clients, leveraging your expertise in civil engineering to drive business growth. Your strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills will enable you to build close relationships with key stakeholders, including consulting engineering offices, general contractors, and architectural firms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical needs assessment, solution creation, and validation with a consultative approach through all stages of the sales process.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with main technical players and prescribers.
  • Train technical stakeholders through various methods, including content creation, webinars, and in-person or remote training sessions.
  • Support the company in introducing new solutions to the market and coordinate the implementation of technology pilot projects.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop new tools and content aimed at helping customers understand products and services.
  • Act as a point of contact for the deployment of technical solutions at the pre-sales stage.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of customer proposals, such as Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (civil or structural) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering services and/or technical sales.
  • Experience supporting products and projects for municipalities, builders, commercial developers, or consulting engineers.
  • Experience with customer relationship management tools, project management tools, and knowledge base tools would be an asset.
  • Perfectly bilingual in French and English.
