About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at our Vaughan location. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to our Canadian business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial plans and forecasts to support business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure proper financial statements and costs.
  • Budgeting: Lead and direct the budgeting process at the plant.
  • Standard Cost Roll: Lead and direct the annual standard cost roll at the plant for manufactured products.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
  • Capex Project Management: Monitor and facilitate capex project completions and fixed asset capitalizations/retirements.
  • Policy Development: Support the development and implementation of policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of increasing responsibility, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex topics to a non-financial audience.
  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or MBA preferable.
