Position Summary
The Service Coordinator is a key member of the Venue Services team, responsible for providing exceptional support to internal and external clients. This role involves a wide range of coordination and administrative functions, including confidential and time-sensitive tasks.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They will have a strong understanding of the mechanics and theory of product and services delivered by the Venue Services team.
Responsibilities
- Support and assist the department/organization with year-round programs, projects, and events
- Ensure all internal and external work is processed, scheduled, monitored, and fulfilled accurately, promptly, and efficiently
- Demonstrate an understanding of the mechanics and theory of product and services delivered by the Venue Services team
- Facilitate and coordinate with the Sales and Events team to ensure work required by the Venue Services team is communicated to ensure the work is completed and deadlines are met
- Represent the department at a variety of internal meetings
- Coordinate and facilitate creation, issuing, re-issuing, and closing of service orders as well as month-end procedures
- Manage a variety of administrative tasks, including mail distribution, agenda creation, recording minutes, data entry, and the development of presentations, written communications, and reports
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in administrative support and possess strong organizational skills, experience using Smartsheet, and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite. They will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
