Director of Industry and Professional Engagement

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our industry and professional engagement efforts. As the Director of Industry and Professional Engagement, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to foster strong relationships between Sheridan and industry partners, employers, and community organizations.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic plans to engage industry partners, employers, and community organizations in support of Sheridan's mission and goals.
- Lead a team of professionals in employer relations, job development, and business development to achieve strategic objectives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key industry partners, employers, and community organizations to identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and expand Sheridan's industry engagement efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement marketing and communications strategies to promote Sheridan's industry engagement efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of industry engagement efforts and make recommendations for improvement.
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Education, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- 7 years of professional experience in employer relations, industry engagement, or business development in higher education or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business development strategies and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
