Position Overview

Join our team at JGV Services Incorporated as a Facility Maintenance Attendant. This is a permanent role that offers a flexible work schedule ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week. No formal education is required, but candidates should have 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Work Environment
  • Staff accommodation is available.
  • Work will be conducted in an office building located in a rural area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Dust and maintain furniture cleanliness.
  • Vacuum carpets, area rugs, and upholstered items.
  • Make beds and change linens.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Manage lost and found items.
  • Dispose of waste and debris efficiently.
  • Conduct light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries or complaints.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is preferred.
Security and Safety Requirements
  • Basic security clearance is necessary.
  • A criminal record check will be conducted.
  • Driver's validity license check is required.
  • Driving record check (abstract) will be part of the screening process.
  • References will be required.
Transportation and Travel
  • Candidates must have their own transportation.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • Public transportation options are not available.
