About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Andrea's Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our guests.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Make beds and change sheets to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our guests.
  • Stock linen closets to ensure a smooth and efficient housekeeping process.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities to our guests.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and physically demanding tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Ability to work a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Standing for extended periods and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Permanent position with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
