About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pizza Chef to join our team at Capital Pizza and Steak House. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintaining accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Kitchen Operations: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring efficient and safe kitchen operations.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, and under pressure.
