We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at Pinewood Motor Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Responsibilities
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account special requests and preferences
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions
  • Assist guests with special needs, such as wheelchair accessibility or dietary requirements
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including first aid and fire evacuation protocols
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for guests
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient front desk operation
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Will train
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and dependability in meeting deadlines and commitments
